The “Enhancing Creativity” scheme, supporting the development of original screenplays by writers in the region of Campania, in now online on the Film Commission Regione Campania website. The aim is to encourage independent production companies in Campania to support young writers in the development and writing of screenplays for feature-length films that present a re-interpretation of the key values of the region’s culture, tradition and contemporary nature for an international audience, and that meet the technical and quality requirements of the domestic and international audiovisual market.

Participation is open to production companies legally headquartered in Campania.
Each application by a production company must be accompanied, at the moment of submission, by contracts that establish the company’s rights to the creative development and exploitation of the material presented.
Only costs deriving from the writing of the screenplay and the initial phases of project development will be accepted.
Reimbursement of the admissible expenses may be distributed in two payments, as follows:
The FCRC will publish the list of the entries within 15 working days from the deadline for evaluation of the submissions, divided into those which have been accepted and those which have not been accepted, noting the motivation.
The FCRC will offer and finance the services of a creative development consultant and script editor/doctor until completion of the first draft of the screenplay to the applicants whose submissions are ranked 3rd, 4th, and 5th.
The project may commence production 6 months after receiving communication of successful submission.
The phases of development and screenplay must be completed within 12 months of signature of the agreement.
